- With or without an antidepressant taken by mouth, to treat adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD)
- With an antidepressant taken by mouth, to treat depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions

SPRAVATO® (esketamine) is a prescription nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression or major depression with suicidal thoughts. Unlike traditional antidepressants that can take weeks to work, SPRAVATO® may provide faster relief for some patients.
SPRAVATO® is a self-administered nasal spray taken only under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare provider in a certified treatment setting. You will never go through treatment alone—your provider will guide you every step of the way.
Each session lasts about two hours. After taking SPRAVATO®, you’ll remain onsite for monitoring, where our care team ensures your safety and comfort before you return home.
The most common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, or mild disorientation, which usually fade the same day. Your care team will monitor you closely during and after each session.
Some patients begin to feel relief within the first few sessions, while for others it may take several weeks. Every person responds differently, but our team will track your progress closely.
SPRAVATO® may be an option if you’ve tried at least two different antidepressants without significant improvement, or if you are experiencing major depression with suicidal thoughts. A psychiatric evaluation will help determine if it’s right for you.
